Gary Wayne "Rummy" Rumfelt , 63 of Filer passed away suddenly Monday November 28th 2016 at his home.

Gary was born December 9th 1952 in Twin Falls to Luke Marion & Hilda Wilma Rumfelt. Gary attended several schools throughout the Magic Valley, eventually graduating from Twin Falls in 1971. He married the love of his life Carla Marie Hodkins July 23rd 1971 to whom he shared 45 beautiful years of marriage.

In 1971 Gary enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served for 4 years. Upon returning they welcomed a beautiful baby girl and 4 years later a son followed.

In 1976 Gary went to work for his inlaw's at Hodkins Oil delivering fuel, a career Gary stayed with until his death. He had a great relationship with all his customers. He loved serving them and they all loved him right back.

Gary was a great man who was loved by so many friends, family and anyone who he met. Growing up we thought he knew everyone in town because you wouldn't go anywhere and him not know at least someone. He was a jack of all trades and a master of some. He took tremendous amount of pride in his home and vehicles. You would always see him washing his truck or mowing his lawn. He loved helping his children with projects at their housed. You would ask and he would never say "no".

Gary is survived by his wife, Carla of Filer; his children Tina Langdon and Jeremy (Tracy) Rumfelt of Filer, grandchildren Lars Langdon, Aaliyah Langdon, Ashlyn Rumfelt and Shelby Rumfelt all of Filer. Mother Hilda Rumfelt, brother Dennis (Janel) Rumfelt, sister Karen Fullmer all of Twin Falls. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews whom he cared for so very much.

He was proceeded in death by his father Luke Rumfelt, grandparents Adolph & Mary Becker all of Twin Falls.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on December 3, 2016 at White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park" with a viewing on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 6-8 and at 10 am one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of White Mortuary "Chapel by the Park."
